Food for every kind of day

Breakfast
Open to residents and non-residents. A proper breakfast, cooked to order – whether you’re easing into the day or heading off early.

À la carte
Available daily from 12–9pm, our main menu focuses on seasonal ingredients and simple, well-cooked food – just as it should be.

Lounge & bar
A relaxed menu, ideal for lunch, a catch-up or something easy. Served daily from 12–9pm in our bar and lounge spaces.

Afternoon tea
Our full afternoon tea is served Monday-Saturday, 12pm until 4pm. Book ahead and enjoy a classic treat.

Sunday lunch
A Sunday tradition, served between 12pm and 3.30pm. Two or three courses, generous portions, and children’s plates too. Everyone’s welcome.

Set lunch
Available Monday-Friday, 1pm until 3pm. A simpler way to enjoy lunch at The Old Bridge – seasonal, well-priced and always satisfying.

Steak night
Finish the weekend with steak and a glass of red. Two or three courses, served Sunday evenings in the restaurant.

Afternoon Tea
Afternoon Tea is a bit of a tradition here. Served Monday-Saturday, 12 until 4pm, our Full Afternoon Tea includes all the classics and needs to be booked in advance. You’ll be seated in the Restaurant or Dining Room, depending on the day.
Prefer something more informal? Our Cream Tea is served in the Lounge and Bar – no need to book. Fresh scones come out around 2.30pm and pair perfectly with a pot of tea.
We can cater for dietary needs with a little notice. For private afternoon tea gatherings, our Dining Room is available for large groups.

Sunday Lunch
Sundays are made for slowing down… and for a roast done properly. Join us between 12pm and 3.30pm for generous, seasonal plates, served with all the classics.
Whether you’re coming with family, old friends, or just easing into the afternoon, we’ll make sure it feels relaxed and unrushed. Children’s portions are available, and there’s always something sweet to finish.
It’s a tradition worth keeping.

Available Monday-Friday, 12pm until 3pm, our set lunch is a simple way to enjoy the best of the season.
Two or three courses, thoughtfully prepared and well-priced. Perfect for a midweek catch-up, working lunch or just because.

Sunday Steak Night
Sundays don’t have to end quietly. Join us in the restaurant from 6pm for Steak Night – a relaxed two or three-course menu with your choice of steak at the heart of it.
It’s the perfect way to round off the weekend: good food, a glass of something nice, and a setting that feels just right.
